Layla Bouchard began her career as a Fitness Trainer in 2003, working with patients involved in a medically supervised weight loss program in San Diego, CA, under the direction of a world renowned bariatric surgeon.
In 2007, she became a certified, Licensed Massage Therapist. In 2008, she became a Nationally Certified Massage Therapist Practitioner, certified by The National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB). Her primary focus and interest is in Sports and Rehabilitative Massage.
Layla worked closely with physical therapists, chiropractors, and acupuncturists to help patients relieve and overcome pain, while striving to assist them in regaining healthy functionality of their muscles, joints, and physical activities, thus greatly improving their daily lives.
Layla worked as the Sports Trainer/Massage Therapist for The San Diego Thunder, men's developmental, semi-professional, football team in 2007 and 2008, where she helped the team earn a championship.
In 2010 she was part owner and head athletic trainer for The National City Bears semi-professional football team. During the 2011 season she was The San Diego Stallions team manager, in 2012, she was with The San Diego Silverbacks, where she was an athletic trainer.
